News and New Topics – What To Learn About Business
Welcome everyone! The last month of Business blogs has been pretty bland, mostly because of the holidays. For those who don’t know, LearnBiz is a blog by me (Jeron) where I discuss what I am currently learning in business while I attend university for Business Analytics.
Now that we are back from the holiday season, I am happy to announce what I will be posting about for the next 4-5 months.
Stock Market – Dividends, Stocks and More
Recently I’ve been posting a lot about the stock market. You can see some of those posts here. I’ve given advice on what I think people should invest in, and I plan to continue to do so.
Lately, I’ve really been into dividend stocks, and have recently invested in MAIN, JEPI and more. I am excited to share why I’ve chosen these specific sotcks and what my results are. Stay tuned to see those articles.
Economics
A new topic that I’m going to discuss is going to be Economics. Economics is all about analyzing how businesses can make optimal decisions by understanding what influces supply and demand, resources, market dynamics, and more. I’m excited to learn about this and I hope that you are too.
Organizational Behavior
One that I’m “iffy” about learning is organizational behavior. Organizational behavior is all about how people interact with each other and thier environment in the workplace. As you can tell, this is A LOT about people. Which isn’t something I’m great at. I am however trying to be optimistic and hope that this can help improve my people skills. Especially in business. Stay tuned to see the results and tips!
Business Presentations
One of the most important parts about busienss is being able to present. This could be to leadership, clients, leads, and more. It is important to know how to make a presentaion and execute it with confidence. This is something I pride myself on and I cannot wait to improve my skills in.
Data Analytics and Statistics
These are two different topics, but I think they have A LOT to do with one another and so I’ve combined them for now. Data analytics is all about reading, interpreting and turning data about company performance and more into results. A big part of this is understanding statistics and its role in business. Therefore, it is important to know how to do statistics when analyzing business data.
